Case Study: Stone replaces Brick Door Sill
Before and After
Replace damaged bricks with stone sill.
Select a dense stone that will withstand Winter.
Remove and replace the flashing.
Sometimes the damage is worse, but that allows moisture to enter.
The door's wood framing is at risk of absorbing water from the bricks.
This client was more proactive, fixing it before it became worse.
Here, the flashing has been carefully removed and set aside.
Bricks Removed, Stone Cut, Set
The bricks have been fully removed, the stones custom cut.
We are using an expensive Adair stone, a very dense strong stone.
Done, Flashing to be Installed
